Frequently asked questions
From what age do you teach?
You can add your son or daughter from age 3, so from kindergarten (KG1 and KG2) up to grade 7. Talk to the tutor about your child's age and level before you book.
My child is starting from scratch. Can you teach the basics?
Yes. The tutor starts with letters and their sounds, then words and simple sentences, step by step, in a way that suits their age.
How do they learn to pronounce letters and read?
The tutor works with them on the sound of each letter (phonics), how to blend sounds to read words, and then short sentences.
Can you help with the school curriculum?
Yes. Send the tutor the school textbook and the lesson your child is on, and they'll explain it, go through the questions together, and prepare them for exams.
How do I know my child is improving?
After every lesson the tutor writes a report: what your child learned, what to focus on, and the plan for the next lesson. You get a notification, and you'll find it under "Lesson Reports".
Are lessons online? How does that work with a young child?
Yes, all lessons are online, from home or anywhere in Jordan, with the tutor on live video. With young children, it's best to stay nearby for the first few lessons.
Who books the lesson?
A parent creates an account, adds their son or daughter, and books from their account.
How long is a lesson and how much does it cost?
Lessons are 50 minutes. Each tutor sets their own price, which you'll see on their card before you book, and you pay for each lesson separately, with no subscription.
Can I try a lesson before committing?
Yes. Book your first lesson with any tutor at half price, then decide whether to continue.
